Welcome to Seams Joyful! I am so glad you chose to visit my shop. Seams Joyful was started in 2016 and specializes in unique, single-production fabric creations.

I love to sew, and my favorite materials to work with are quilters cotton and flannel. Some of my favorite sewing tools are a 1950s era Singer sewing machine, a desktop computer for design work, rotary cutter and mat, and Wonder clips. I was first taught to sew as a pre-teen by my mom, but really fell in love with sewing as an adult. Since then, I have honed my skills through tutorials, books, and trial-and-error.

One of my favorite sewing projects is making lap quilts. Even though they are time-consuming, I love the creation of something beautiful and unique from scraps and leftover pieces. It is a great creative outlet. In addition to sewing, I enjoy reading, watching my kids pursue their interests, doodling, and playing games.
