If so, the Strawberries Lap Quilt is for you. The front layer is machine-pieced with cotton thread using 6 different cotton fabric prints to create a unique, colorful piece sure to brighten a room.

The backing layer is made of red and white gingham as a tribute to the traditional picnic cloth. The quilting design outlines the quilt blocks and then features strawberry vines around each block. Each vine includes strawberries and leaves and was hand-drawn then sewn by the designer using a 1950s era Singer sewing machine.

Sandwiched between these fabric layers is a layer of Quilter’s 80/20 Quilt Batting (80% cotton and 20% polyester).

This lap quilt measures 38.5” across and 54.5” long (about 3 feet by 4.5 feet), making it an ideal size for use as a lap blanket to add warmth. The 3 layers make it cozy and warm, without being bulky or heavy.

The Strawberries Lap Quilt can easily be folded for storage when not in use, and it can be machine washed and dried.
