If so, the Twelve Days of Christmas Lap Quilt is for you. The first layer is machine pieced with cotton thread in the “crazy quilt” style using a variety of Christmas-themed cotton fabrics to create a unique, colorful piece sure to brighten a room.

The backing layer is made of red cotton broadcloth and features motifs from the classic “Twelve Days of Christmas” song. Each motif has been carefully machine-quilted through the 3 layers of the quilt (crazy quilt, 80-20 cotton-polyester batting, and backing) using green polyester thread. The quilting designs are based on the original artwork of Xavier Romero-Frias*. All designs have been adapted by Seams Joyful to create a lovely quilt you can proudly display.

As previously mentioned, the Twelve Days of Christmas Lap Quilt is as functional as it is beautiful. It measures 38.5” across and 53.75” long (about 3 feet by 4.5 feet), making it an ideal size for use as a lap blanket to add warmth. The 3 layers make it cozy and warm, without being bulky or heavy.

The lap quilt can easily be folded for storage when not in use, and it can be machine washed and dried.
